The second plaintiff in the controversial lawsuit challenging the eligibility of the National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate for the Klottey Korley Constituency, Dr. Zantor Rawlings, has pulled out of the case.
Nii John Coleman together with the incumbent NDC Member of Parliament for the constituency, Nii Armah Ashietey, filed a joint suit praying the court to declare null and void the primary that elected Dr. Zanetor Rawlings.
The two men, who were beaten by the new entrant, say she had no business contesting the election because she is not a registered voter.

According to him, he was compelled to withdraw following the intervention of party elders in the region.
His withdrawal was met with opposition from lawyer for the first plaintiff, Nii Armah Ashietey, who challenged the withdrawal procedure.
But the judge granted the application which leaves Nii Armah Ashitey as the sole plaintiff in the case.
The case has been adjourned to March 18, 2016.
