Ghana’s Foreign Minister, Hanna Tetteh is on a three-day trip to Israel.
According to a statement signed by the Minister of Communications, Edward Omane Boamah, Madam Tetteh left for the Middle Eastern nation from Accra on Sunday.
[contextly_sidebar id=”xEGJq3pwfgUMEy4SrRrbWdJF8uMojYQ8″]Her visit to Israel is in honour of an invitation from the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who also serves as Foreign Minister.
According to the statement “the two sides will deepen bilateral relations and discuss agriculture, education & investment promotion between the two countries.”
Israel has partnered with Ghana on several fronts in recent years including waste management which they have observed continues to be a major problem.
Hanna Tetteh is expected to return to Ghana on March 16, 2016.
