Citi FM once again put smiles on the faces of children at Handi evangelism orphanage at Haatso in Accra.
About 50 children had the opportunity to interact and feast with staff of Citi FM as part of the company’s Easter Orphan project.
Citi FM donated assorted items like confectioneries, toiletries, mattresses and an undisclosed monetary donation.
Resident director of Handi Evangelism children’s home, Pastor Reindorf Ashley was grateful to Citi FM for allowing its staff to spend time with the orphans and also encouraging them.
“We have been working with Citi FM for the past six years and the relationship has been great. We rely on such interventions to support these children .The kids are very happy and we think it is a laudable initiative,” Pastor Reindorf said.
This year, three orphanages across the country benefited from the project which takes place annually every Easter Monday.
They included the Baptist School Complex (BASCO), an orphanage at Trotor, near Suhum in the Eastern Region, the Handivangelism Orphanage at Haatso in Accra, and Mama Laadi Orphanage at Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region.
