One of President John Mahama’s brothers, Alfred Mahama, has reportedly been involved in a car crash.

Alfred Mahama, a businessman and a mining consultant, is said to have suffered a fracture and bruises on his face.

It is unclear yet what caused the accident.

But information from the 37 Military Hospital where he is receiving treatment says he is yet to have scans to determine the extent of his injuries.

Initial reports had suggested that the accident involved Ibrahim Mahama, also the President’s brother and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Engineers and Planners.

It however turned out to be Alfred Mahama, the President’s elder brother.
