Amadu Nurudeen has resigned from his post as head coach of Aduana Stars FC.
He lay down his tools only 24 hours after the team suffered their second successive defeat in the ongoing Ghana Premier League at home to Wa All Stars.
The campaign has gotten of to a disastrous start for the Dormaa based side who were among the highest spenders in the transfer window.
Big name signings including Yayha Mohammed,Noah Martey and Richard Mpong haven’t impacted the team in the manner expected leaving Aduana among the bottom sides in league.
When contacted by Accra based Asempa Fm Amadu Nurudeen confirmed the news.
“That is the nature of the job. If things don’t work out for you, you will just have to resign.”
“My reasons for resigning are personal but the coach must take blame for the poor performance of the players.”
“We need teamwork to win matches not individual play.”
