The Brong-Ahafo Regional Minister, Eric Opoku is expected to meet the media this evening at the Regional Coordinating Council to outline measures on how to deal with agitations by residents whose monies have been locked up in some investment firms in the region.
The meeting is in response to the recent show of aggression by affected customers of DKM and Jaster Motors and Investments.
Earlier, angry youth of Nkoranza North assaulted the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Kojo Agyei Dwomoh, over what they claim is his failure to assist them retrieve their monies.

The Regional Minister’s Public Relations Officer, Kwabena Acheampong, confirmed this evening’s meeting to Citi News.
“Tonight the Brong Ahafo regional minister is going to meet the media, Nananom, opinion leaders and the chief imam and then the pastors in the region to show the footage with respect to their indoor meetings.”
Mr. Acheampong further added that the screening of footages from the meetings with the companies will help guide the media in their reportage of the issue.
According to him, “It is about time we also showcased it to the media to guide their writing and radio discussions. The Minister is going to meet with the media to show the footage and also take their advice based on the footage they have watched.”
