BET award winner, Stonebwoy, has told Citi FM he has had to cancel a show at the Sting Jamaica Concert to participate in Ghana’s official Christmas party concert, Citi FM’s Decemba to Rememba.
[contextly_sidebar id=”cQTC1avXdpw6sqQD7XNvXaqIjbCl6CQu”]Stonebwoy, real name Livingstone Etse Satekla, made this known in an interview with the Host of the Citi Breakfast Show, Bernard Avle on Wednesday ahead of the concert tomorrow [Thursday].
The multiple award winner is thus asking music lovers to come energized for the concert.
“We are there because of them and they are there because of us so they should come in their numbers.”
He has assured fans he will bring his “A-game” on the night of #D2R2015.
“We’ve worked with the topmost Jamaican artists. One of the songs is number one in Jamaica, I was featured on by High Octane. It is rather unfortunate that I can’t go to sing in Jamaica. It is one of the biggest platforms. It is out there on the platforms, on the fliers that I’m performing, being the first African ever to go on that type of show. I’m not going to be on that show because of #D2R2015, because I signed this contract first,” he told Bernard.
Stonebwoy will be sharing the Decemba to Rememba stage with artists like EL, Okyeame Kwame, Gasmilla, Pappy Kojo, Eazzy, VVIP, Atom of ‘Ye wo krom’ fame, Wisa Greid and many other surprise acts.
#D2R2015 will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre on December 24,2015 at 8pm.
The official attire for the biggest end of year party is the traditional white top and jeans.
