Two Non-Governmental Organizations; Advocacy Initiative for Development (AID) Ghana and Community Life Support Foundation (CLSF), joined by Towdah Sounds (TS); an all Ladies Interdenominational Worship Ministry based in Accra, made a donation to the Methodist Rafiki Village Orphanage in Gyaadze, a suburb in Winneba on Saturday, December, 12, 2015.
The groups led by Pastor Nii Okwei Dowuona; Programmes Director of AID Ghana, Mrs Eunice A. O. Lamptey; CEO of CLSF and Mrs. Miriam A. O. Annan, President of TS donated clothing, bags of water, drinks, food and assorted items to the children.
The Assistant Director of the Orphanage; Mrs. Mercy Asante received the items and appreciated the groups for the kind gesture done them. In her statement, she expressed that other NGOs could come and do same for these innocent children who are being housed there.
A special thanks goes to Mrs Adelaide Yeboah Ntori (USA) and Mrs Esther Ayittah (Ghana) for their immense contribution to the success of this donation activity.
In their closing remarks, Pastor Nii Okwei Dowuona and Mrs. Eunice A. O. Lamptey promised that their organizations would contribute bags of water each month to support the orphanage.
