The newly elected National Democratic Congress Parliamentary candidate in the Ningo-Prampram constituency, Sam George, is “nowhere to be found” after he was scheduled to meet the party’s disciplinary committee over his suspension.
Sam George was suspended by the Greater Accra Regional executives of the party for comments he made which the party deemed derogatory, during the NDC’s parliamentary primaries.
Sam George’s suspension, which took effect from December 1, 2015, is being reviewed by the NDC’s Functional Executive Committee (FEC).

Speaking to Citi News, the Greater Accra Regional Secretary of the NDC, Victor Quarshie, indicated that Sam Dzata George is nowhere to be found since an invitation was sent to him to appear before the disciplinary committee.
“He is not around, we’ve been looking for him, but we are told he has gone out of the country. I’ve been looking for him myself; I have called him and dispatched letters to where we can find him. I have whatsapped the letter to him, I have emailed him but I have not been able to reach him,” Victor Quarshie indicated.
Victor Quarshie hinted that the regional executive body will be meeting to revisit the issue of his suspension and decide whether or not his fate should be decided with or without him present.
However, Citi News’ checks reveal that Sam George is out of the country.
Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament for the La Dadekotopon Constituency, Nii Amasa Namoale, who was also suspended for the same offences as Sam George, has in a letter to the party apologized for his conduct.
