The Lingua Express International Coordinator, Mr Christopher Isaac Akakpo, is encouraging every Ghanaian to learn at least a second language, especially the French Language.
The French Tutor, who gave the advice at the 2015 grand finale of Lingua Express International French Quiz, said learning a second international language, places one in a better position particularly for job opportunities.
The grand finale marks the end of the pilot project organized in selected communities in Tema during the first term of the 2014/2015 academic year.
The two finalists (Tema parents’ Association School verses Tema First Baptist School) met on 12th December, 2015 to decide who will take home the 2015 Trophy of Lingua Express International Interschool French Quiz.
The project was an initiative of Lingua Express International, a non-governmental organization committed to promoting the learning and speaking of French language through recreational activities such as quizzes and songs in making the learning of the language more appealing and fun.
He also encouraged “parents to urge their wards to take French language seriously”.
“The non-governmental organisation will move to neighboring francophone countries to promote the English language” he said.
The 2015 Grand Final of Lingua Express International French Quiz Competition was won By Tema Parents Association School after the finals on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Christ the King School.
