Three Vodafone subscribers over the weekend received cash prizes totalling GHȼ45,000 for accumulating the most points at the end of the first month of the “Yee Twi Kɔ” promotion.
William Okoh Sarkodie, a businessman, won the monthly grand prize of GHȼ30,000, while Mustapha Ahmed Toufiq and Eric Lumor, carried home GHȼ10,000 and GHȼ5,000 respectively.
The “Yee Twi Kɔ” promo, which seeks to award GHS100, 000 to the ultimate winner, is Vodafone’s way of showing appreciation to its loyal customers for their continuous support, patronage, and to celebrate the inroads it has made in the telecom sector over the past six years.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony held in Kumasi, Martison Obeng-Agyei, Head of Vodafone’s Mass Market said:
“At Vodafone, we try to find unique ways to show our customers we appreciate them and value their role in the business. Our Yee Twi Kɔ promo promised to reward over 180, 000 customers’ within 70 days. So far 17,000 customers have redeemed prizes with over 400 customers winning between GH¢5.00 to GH¢500 on weekly basis.”
The Mass Market Manager hinted how over 2,000 of the promo winners are in the Ashanti region.
Mr. Sarkodie was thankful to Vodafone Ghana for bringing a promo that will help him use the GHȼ30,000 prize to expand his business. “The promo is real so take advantage of it to enrich your life.”
Customers can simply ‘Scratch, Top-up and Win’ or build points as they recharge, make calls, send SMS, browse the internet or purchase bundles including Vodafone RED and Vodafone X.
Customers who have been off the network within three months can still recharge, activate and win exciting prizes. The ‘scratch and win’ aspect of the promotion is open to both pre-paid and hybrid customers; however the point accumulation aspect is only for consumer mobile prepaid customers.
