As part of initiatives to reward loyal customers, and to exhibit its continuous support for Ghana’s music industry, Tigo Ghana, has launched the second edition of its musical concert, dubbed “TIGO UNPLUGGED”.
The event, which is slated for the 28th of this month takes place at the Baba Yara sports stadium in Kumasi and is expected to thrill and excite customers with music from their favorite artistes.
This year’s concert also tagged “You For Know”edition, celebrates the first anniversary of Tigo Music with customers ahead of Christmas.
Speaking at the launch in Accra, Director of Marketing, Jesse Agyepong, said the Tigo music experience is one that aims at celebrating good music and this year Tigo music concert is going to be taken to another level.
“We will continue to be a part of the music industry because we believe that music delivers a great brand experience. We urge our customers to join us at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for a fun-filled concert,” he stated.
According to him, the concert is anticipated at innovating and exciting customers. He also added that Tigo’s partnership with Deezer, the international music streaming service provides the Ghanaian and user an unlimited music experience.
“We made a huge impact on the music industry last year, with the launch of our partnership with Deezer, the international music streaming service. Through our commitment to commercialize music, we have been able to give real value for money to our local artistes and support to the Ghana music industry”.

The 2015 Tigo Music Unplugged Concert is supported by Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited; Golden Tulip (Kumasi), Africa World Airlines (AWA), TV3, EIB Group, Ultimate FM (Kumasi), Tigomusic.com.gh and DDP.
Artistes on the bill will include Stonebwuoy, Shatta Wale, Mzvee, VVIP, Kwaw Kesse, EL, Ketche and Nigerian dancehall artiste, Patoranking. Admission is absolutely free for all Tigo users.
