Some suspected armed robbers on Monday morning attacked Amanfrom Top Town in the Ga South Municipality.
The two robbers are said to have attacked about five households around at 3:00am.
Barely three months ago, the area was under constant attack by armed robbers for several weeks compelling the then Inspector General of Police Mohammed Alhassan, and the Accra Regional Police Command to visit the area.

Speaking to Citi News about the latest robbery incident, a resident of the area said three households were robbed of their monies and other assets.
“During the attack one had a gun and the other a knife. They stole some mobile phones, a laptop and a lot of money. They kept demanding for more money” he said.
He added that the bad nature of the road had made it impossible for the police to continue their routine patrols in the area adding that “the roads are so bad now that it’s impossible to use your vehicle to access the area”.
