The incumbent Member of Parliament for Ketu North Constituency, Dr James Klutse Avedzi has promised that all his contenders will be defeated in the upcoming parliamentary race.
The MP says although his contenders might have the opportunity to contest in the upcoming parliamentary primaries, their chances of entering Ghana’s Parliament are very slim.

All those contending Avedzi would see the promise land but won’t step their feet on the land,” he said.
Dr. Avedzi said claims by his opponents that, he has neglected his constituents were untrue and that he has worked enough for Ghana and the people of Ketu North to deserve their mandate for the third term.
He was speaking at his campaign launch at Dzodze.
Dr James Avedzi is being contested by three others; Don Emmanuel Agbanyo, Stevens Ahiawordor and Koku Tsreve.
The campaign launch was heavily attended by party sympathizers as well as some big shots in Ghana’s Parliament.
