Black Stars coach Avram Grant believes playing in Kumasi will give the team the edge over Comoros in the second leg of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
The two teams drew goalless in Moroni in the first leg and Ghana needs a win to make it to the final stage of the qualifiers.
Grant says Ghana will get the needed outcome because of home advantage and the quality in the team but he also admits that the visitors are a good side and it showed in the match on Friday.
“We are playing at home and we will play against a team we are better than but first of all, we need to take our chances. That is what we need to do to have a chance. As I said, you need to give the Comoros a lot of credit. They fought well and they made it difficult for us to create chances but it will be easier for us in Ghana. We will play on a grass pitch and that will suit us.”
The Black Stars are scheduled to train at the Baba Yara Stadium this morning while the Comoros will train at 3pm on Monday afternoon.
