The driver of a KIA truck lost control of its brake and run into an office building around the Crown prince Hotel in Adabraka Tuesday morning.
About seven other vehicles who were stuck in traffic were also involved in the accident.
An eyewitness who described the incident to Citi News said,
“It actually came from that truck loaded with yam, it was just coming and the brakes failed. The driver warned the other drivers by blowing his horns but the traffic light was red. He ran into the building and the other vehicles, about eight of them.”
The injured were sent to the Ridge hospital as the police and officials from the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) were around to direct traffic flow and ensure order at the scene.
