A member of the Ashanti Regional Communications team of the governing National Democratic Congress, Francis Dodovi, has confirmed seizing a vehicle from a 2012 presidential aspirant, Akwasi Addae.
Akwasi Addae, popularly known as Odike, was the presidential candidate of the United Front Party (UFP).
He is said to have consulted a businessman for some logistics to support his campaign.
A plea the businessman agreed to and offered Mr. Addai two vehicles.
But confirming the incident to Citi News, Francis Dodovi said Odike has since refused to return the vehicles hence the decision to seize them.
“He approached a businessman and he was given two vehicles to support his political campaign in 2012. But several attempts to get him to return the vehicles have proven unsuccessful. Actually, we have just seized one vehicle so its left with another one” he said.
