President John Dramani Mahama will on Friday deliver an Anniversary Lecture in commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of the University of Ilorin in the Kwara State of Nigeria.
President Mahama, who will be joined by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, HE Muhammadu Buhari, will speak on Africa’s Agenda 2063: Ending Poverty and Ensuring Prosperity in Africa.
He will later join President Buhari to inaugurate some new projects executed by the University and be the special guests at an Anniversary Merit Awards Ceremony.
The University of Ilorin, founded in 1975, has a student population of more than 40,000 and has over the years established faculty and student exchanges with the University of Cape Coast and the University of Ghana.
