Citi Sports sources can confirm that Japanese coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi is in Ghana to finish negotiations with Accra Hearts of Oak and take over the club’s head coaching role.
Yatsuhashi touched down in Accra on Saturday and it is expected that he will hold talks with the Phobians.
The Japanese coach worked with ASA College in the United States of America. Kenichi Yatsuhashi landed in the country on Saturday evening and has been having discussions with Hearts of Oak in view of taking the head coach’s appointment.
Hearts came close to appointing Tom Strand from Medeama but there were no agreements in terms of the buyout clause in Strand’s contract.

Hearts of Oak will hope for a better campaign in the coming First Capital Plus Premier League season after finishing 13th last season with 40 points.
