About 50 workers of the National Disaster Management Organization, NADMO representing about 1500 people today [Tuesday] picketed at the Finance Ministry to demand unpaid salaries.
The workers say they have not been paid for the past three years.
They say they have petitioned all appropriate offices but to no avail.
They say reports indicate the Finance Ministry has not been given the clearance for them to be paid.
Meanwhile, the ministry also said it has given financial clearance for about 750 of them to be paid.
