The “Lapaz Toyota” and “Poley” hit maker, Guru has debunked claims that he has taken a break from the music and entertainment industry to re-brand himself.
[contextly_sidebar id=”EYi4nHs5pThwgdcFRc0QMATQTjZ4ydjm”]The Graphic Showbiz Newspaper reported in its July 2nd edition that Guru was going to take a break from music.
The report generated heated discussions on radio and the entertainment circles as people questioned the rationale behind the move, especially when one of his hottest songs is still reigning in Ghana.
He said such claims should be “disregarded.”
When citifmonline.com contacted Guru, he said he has never thought of taking such a decision and that Ghanaians should get ready to be “mesmerized” with more great songs from him.
Guru said he is also getting ready to shoot a video in Dubai and that he has an impending big collaboration in the pipeline, which will announce his arrival on the international scene.
Guru is not new to making hits, his repertoire includes hits like Poley swag, Kpakpakpa movement, Lapaz Toyota, Boys abr3 and many others.
He said, “Ghana and Africa should watch out for me and the NKZ crew.”
The CEO of NKZ music, Ray Moni also said his management is ready to propel Guru onto the African stage with the production of quality music and videos.
