The northern caucus in Parliament led by the Majority leader, Alban Bagbin are presently at the demolition site at Old Fadama in Accra.
Their visit is to help them ascertain the extent of damage which has been caused to the structures of the residents who are mostly migrants from the three regions of the north.
The team is being shown around by the Minister for Local Government, Alhaji Collins Duada and his Deputy, Nii Lante Vanderpuye who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Odododiodio constituency.
Also, the Maliguna or local chief of the Dagomba people at Old Fadama, Ziblim Zachari is with them.
The northern caucus will later meet with the leaders and members of the community to discuss issues pertaining to their ejection.
