[contextly_sidebar id=”etYXoNC4OFEJzSAZ3JmByegWecJpB9Qc”]The youth galvanized thier friends from various communities in the Tamale Metropolitcan area and marched to the offices of VRA/NEDco.
They smashed some of the company’s properties with stones but the timely arrival of the Police saved the situation.
They accused authorities of the VRA/NEDco of unfairly targeting them and constantly turning off their lights especially during the period of fasting when according to them, they should rather have power.
According to them, the power rationing halted during the Easter festive season for which reason same action should be taken as Muslims observe the ongoing Ramadan season.
They served notice of rejecting the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration at the 2016 polls if the power rationing continued.
