The YFM Presenter Miss Ada has been referred to a psychiatrist for further medical treatment.
Ada was last month reported missing but was found to have allegedly staged her own abduction and sexual assault.
She was admitted at the Police Hospital on April 16 following the circulation of her nude pictures on social media.
She was later referred to a psychologist after it emerged the incident was staged.
[contextly_sidebar id=”55mLqtvQcz7aEv4fzttsyGPsauXixWTG”]Sources close to her at the hospital say the psychologist who has been treating her for some weeks has however now recommended that she be treated by a psychiatrist.
The move Citi News understands was triggered by the unusual behaviour she exhibited at the hospital.
Questions were raised on her mental state of health after police in Takoradi suspected her of conspiring with others to stage her kidnap and sexual assault.
The police are under pressure to interrogate her after they published the testimony of the arrested suspect connected to the case.
They also need her cooperation to facilitate her possible prosecution of all those arrested in connection with the case.
The prosecutor in charge of the case involving the YFM Presenter Miss Ada told the Kaneshie Magistrate Court last Tuesday that she will hopefully be discharged from the hospital by June 10.
The court, presided over by Judge Adwoa Akyaamaa Ofosu, asked the prosecutor, Inspector Anim Darko when Ms Ada was admitted at the hospital and when she would be discharged.
However, Inspector Anim Darko, who could not give a specific date, was hopeful that Ms Ada who was admitted on April 16 would have been discharged by the time the case is recalled on June 10.
