The final funeral rites of late designer of the Ghana national flag, Theodosia Salome Okoh has been held at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
She passed on in April at age 92.
The funeral was attended by a high powered delegation from government led by Vice President, Kwesi Amissah Arthur, former President Jerry John Rawlings, some Members of Parliament (MPs), members of the sports fraternity, among others.
She was later sent to the Osu cemetery for burial.
She was the first female Chair person of the Ghana Hockey Association; and the Accra hockey pitch has been named after her.
Until her death, madam Okoh was a patron of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG).
