President John Mahama in a congratulatory message to re-elected British Prime Minister, David Cameron, has called for the sustenance of all mutually beneficial partnerships.

He expressed the hope that both Ghana and the United Kingdom (UK), “shall continue to work together towards the strengthening of the existing bonds of friendly relations between our two nations, while sustaining the mutually beneficial partnerships between our two countries and peoples.”
“Please accept, Rt. Hon. Prime Minister, my very best wishes for the personal well-being, a successful tenure, peace and continued prosperity of the British people,” the statement said.
David Cameron has been re-elected Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
His unexpected win onvertunred poll predictions as the Conservative Party won a majority in UK’s Parliamentary elections.
They secured 326 seats after 643 constituencies were counted.
The Labour party secured 230 seats while the Liberal Democrat party had eight seats.
