Details behind his arrest remain sketchy but it is believed that he may have been detained for allegedly manipulating the election results. Speaking on Eyewitness News on Tuesday, Gloria Mensah said her husband was incapable manipulating the results and threatened to sue the BNI if he is not released.
“He has been doing this job before I met him. He will never do such a thing because his integrity is at stake,” she stated.
She also threatened to go to court to seek an order that will set her husband free.
“Because if we don’t take those measures I wouldn’t know when they are going to release him. We cannot even tell if he is okay because we have not been allowed to see him,” she added.
Meanwhile, family of the software engineer, have threatened to sue the BNI if they fail to release him by Wednesday.
Speaking to Citi News, the father of Stephen Forson, George Amoah Baiden said “if by tomorrow he is not released we will go to court.”
