Denzel Logistics has donated an amount of GHC 2,000 to the Citi Opportunity Project on Education (COPE).
COPE is an educational initiative that seeks to provide scholarships to brilliant but deprived students to further their education within various secondary schools and universities in Ghana.
COPE has over the years supported students who cannot pay for their fees due to various reasons.The beneficiaries are at various stages and pursuing various programmes at the various public tertiary institutions in the country.
Denzel Logistics was formed and incorporated in June 2013 as a limited liability company in Ghana. The Company is active in general commodities including the supply of crude oil, petrol, cooking oil, sugar, rice and cement to a large variety of clients.
The Company is structured as a group with subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Dubai and Nigeria. This allows Denzel Logistics to serve clients in close to 15 countries in Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
[contextly_sidebar id=”ComctNhq7VVL53wujK5GGIQPMSsPSPIj”]A recent graduate of the University of Ghana and a beneficiary of COPE, Mary Mensah, has revealed how the project took her up and paid the full cost of her four-year degree programme.
Other beneficiaries of COPE include Henrietta Amador (a second year student of the University of Ghana – Accra City Campus), Nicholas Quarshie (a first year student of the University of Ghana) and Eron Ansah (a first year student of the University for Development Studies).
A full scholarship for a student in Ghana’s public universities costs between GHc 4600 to GHc 5400. The COPE Projects seeks to raise GHc 250000 to fund at least fifty brilliant but needy students in the various institutions.
