George Kwabena Adu, known popularly as Kwabena Kwabena, has since 2005 been one of the most dominant voices in Ghana.
[contextly_sidebar id=”NGlYUlyyOloeUXIkFhbVn1ylbeKmQ7zP”]His debut album, titled Kwabena Kwabena, won the hearts of many. The lead single Aso, which featured Kontihene, is still one of the favorite songs of Ghanaians.
He started his music career at the Hush Hush studios, providing backing vocals for other musicians. He worked with artists like Becca, Tinny and A-Plus, and also helped with the Sounds of Our Time compilation by the Last Two music group.
His recent hits include Adult Music, Bue Kwan and Engya me ho.
He has over the years raised money to support the cost of heart surgery for people suffering from heart related complications at the Cardiothoracic Centre of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH).
He has four nominations in the #MOGOAwards; MOGO Highlife Song, MOGO Best Performer, MOGO Best Vocalist and MOGO Artiste.
