The annual Citi FM Music of Ghana Origin (MOGO) Festival started Saturday March 21, at Mantse Agbonaa, Jamestown with the Accra Music Expo.
Jama groups from various communities competed for honors and set Accra alight with their energetic performances. In the end, the Teshie group came first, followed by Ga Mashie and Osu in that order.
The Accra Music Expo celebrated indigenous Ga music and set the ball rolling for a great week of Music of Ghanaian Origin.
Dzadzeloi, Adane Best, Naterial and Tinny took turns to entertain the packed Mantse Agbonaa with their songs.
The MOGO Festival continues Monday evening with the Night with Highlife Greats. Nana Kwame Ampadu, Ben Brako and Paapa Yankson will share the music and life stories at Alisa Hotel on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
