Controversial Member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyepong has alleged that about 85% of Ghanaian businessmen deal in narcotic drugs.

[contextly_sidebar id=”uduh6FeBgtc9roh36RhST6FVUAZBaDEZ”]“You see, the drug dealers in the long run they save money. I will be honest with you; about 85% of the successful businessmen in this country one way or the other dealt in drugs,” he stressed.

Kennedy Agyepong a businessman and considered by many as a rich man, was responding to allegations that have been leveled against him in the past that he is drug dealer.

When asked about his view on the tag, Kennedy Agyepong rubbished the allegations saying, “When I was washing plates in Germany, where were you? When I was driving taxi in America, where were you? When I was a gas attendant, where were you? When I was working with Lawyer Asiedu Amnesty programme in New York where were you? Then you just think the guy has made money and therefore he is a drug dealer? I won’t accept it.”

The Assin Central legistor made these statements on TV3’s New Day programme on Friday.

Kennedy Agyepong who is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kencity Multimedia bragged that he has a total of 108 houses.

He said 26 of his properties are located in the rich areas of East Legon in Accra.
