Health Minister, Dr. Kwaku Agyemang-Mensah has set up a committee to investigate the management of the Central Medical Stores at Tema after expressing dissatisfaction at the running of the warehouse.

The warehouse which stores drugs for public hospital across the country was ravaged by the fire.
Many have raised questions over how the government hospitals will cope following the fire outbreak.
But Minister of Health has given the assurance that there are enough drugs and medical equipment to last for the next two months.
Addressing the media on the issue, the sector Minister disclosed that the various regions have stock piles that will last between two to three months therefore; there is no cause for alarm.
According to him, the Ministry has a temporary warehouse and so the items which will be salvaged from the inferno will be stored there “so there is no need to panic.”
“We will wait for the National Fire Service to do the proper investigation then we will know what we have lost and what we have left,” he added.
