The family of the late Komla Dumor has announced plans to mark the first anniversary of the icon’s demise. A statement released says the event will come off on Saturday, 17th January 2015.

It’s been ONE YEAR since our dearly beloved Komla Akefe Dumor passed on.
As we prepare to mark the first anniversary, the Dumor and Allied Families in concert with the Board of Trustees of the Komla Dumor Memorial Foundation wish to inform all Ghanaians as well as well-wishers around the world, that a special Memorial Service for the Icon of African Broadcast Journalism, Komla Afeke Dumor will be held at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabrakah Accra, beginning 8:00am, on Saturday, 17th January 2015.
