An Accra circuit court presided over by Justice Francis Obiri has adjourned to Friday, December 12, 2014 to rule on a bail application on a case involving the accomplices of Nayale Ametefe, the woman arrested for carrying cocaine into the UK.

Some of the accused persons including, Nana Akua Amponsah and Sadalia Sandra Nuhu, both business women, who allegedly travelled with Nayele abandoned their luggage and managed to abscond after she was arrested at the Heathrow Airport.
The two were later arrested when they returned into the country and are currently facing trail in Ghana.
Alhaji Dawood, also a businessman who allegedly facilitated Nayele’s access through the VVIP lounge at the Kotoka International Airport is also expected to reappear in court on Friday.
Alhaji Dawood in an earlier hearing last week told the Accra based court that he turned himself in to the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) and not arrested as being speculated.
Ruby Adu Gyamfi alias Nayele Ametefe has pleaded guilty to the charges proffered against her by the UK court.
She is expected to reappear in court on January 5, 2015.
