Hollywood divorces can often be messy and may take several months if not years to finalize. But Bruce and Kris Jenner found a way to defy the hollywood stereotype and finalize their divorce in less than three months on Thursday. The couple separated in October 2013 and Kris Jenner filed for divorce in September 2014 citing “Irreconcilable differences”
HLN obtained divorce documents that detail how the couple decided to divide several of their luxury lifestyle properties, possessions and assets seen on the popular E! Network reality series “Keeping up with the Kardashians.”
In a nutshell, it seems the pair pretty much split everything amicably — here are the details:
Family: Married on April 21, 1991, the couple have one adult child (18-year-old Kendall Nicole Jenner) and one minor child (17-year-old Kylie Kristen Jenner). They will assume joint custody of Kylie. Neither Kris or Bruce will seek spousal support. In lieu of child support, the couple will pay any expenses for Kylie as they occur while she is in respective custody with either parent. Kris Jenner will pay the cost of Kylie’s private school tuition for the remainder of her high school education, but for tax purposes she will be entitled to take the deduction for the minor child.
Home: The beautiful home in Calabasas seen on many episodes of the popular reality show (and the famous family Christmas cards) goes to Kris. Any separate residences Bruce currently has will remain in his name.
Possessions: All furniture, furnishings, artwork appliances and wedding gifts already divided by the parties by mutual agreement will remain in each of their possession, custody, and control. They will also keep their own jewelry, watches and clothing.
Cars: Kris will keep a 2012 Rolls Royce Ghost, 2014 Bentley CV, and 2014 Land Rover. Bruce Jenner will keep a 2011 Porsche 977 Coupe, 2013 Cadillac Escalade, and a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Money: Kris will keep all personal and business bank accounts including one standing in the name “Momager, Inc.” Kris will pay Bruce $2.5 million and Bruce will also receive half the interest in joint bank accounts from the couples marriage.
Business: Kris will assume responsibility and liability for all “partnerships and business interest” standing in her name and all intellectual property created by her during or after their marriage. (This includes movies, television series, stories, scripts, screenplays, treatments, ideas, proposals, and including any and all future income).
Oh, and they both keep their individual airline miles — sweet!
The divorce is officially finalized and they can marry another spouse effective March 23, 2015, however there is a provision in the divorce docs that states “in the event of a reconciliation between the parties hereto, this Stipulated Judgment, nevertheless, shall continue in full force and effect until modified, altered, or terminated by an agreement in writing to such effect, signed by each of the parities hereto.” (For those still holding on hope!)
Kris’ daughter Kim Kardashian got hitched in May to rapper Kanye West, her third marriage. Her sister Khloe is going through divorce proceedings with former NBA player Lamar Odom. Sister Kourtney Kardashian is in a longterm relationship with Scott Disick.
