The National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has described as “cheap and defeatist,” allegations that he has been collaborating with Nana Akufo Addo and members of the Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG), to promote the interest of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Some NDC members are reportedly fueling speculations that Kofi Adams has been cavorting with high ranking members of the NPP, but Kofi Adams has flatly denied the allegations.
A press statement signed by the National Organiser aspirant said such claims should be disregarded.

He stressed that his loyalty for the governing NDC party remains firm.
“I have served the NDC with unadulterated loyalty for over 22 years and no individual or groups of persons can question that commitment under any circumstances. My credentials and credibility in the NDC are better exhibited by the huge outpouring of love and support that the entire country has been gripped with as Saturday draws nigh.”
In 2012, Kofi Adams was suspended by the party after he was implicated in a secret tape recording, promising party foot-soldiers soft loans and National Security identification cards to enable them do a yet to-be-instructed job during the December polls.
The purported voice of Kofi Adams on the tape also said it would do everything possible to ensure the NDC loses the 2012 elections.
But he vehemently rejected the allegations and even went to court to clear his name after he was suspended.
