The Adentan Municipal Assembly has donated a Nissan pickup valued at ninety eight thousand Ghana cedis to the Adentan Police.
The pick up is expected to help the Police in the area to efficiently deliver their services.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Benjamin Angenu in interview with Citi News indicated that the vehicle will also augment the fleet of vehicles to fight crime in the Municipality.
“The intended purpose of buying this vehicle is to enable the police become very visible within the municipality for them to patrol the municipality because looking at Adentan, Adentan is quite vast. From the motorway we share boundary with Oyibi. If they do not have a Vehicle to patrol, security will be a big issue and the citizenry will be at a risk. This is why we decided to augment their fleet of vehicles with this Nissan Pickup. The money for the vehicle came from internally generated funds which includes tolls and taxes from the municipality.”
