Outspoken Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Daniel Bugri Naabu has set up a special committee to investigate and submit a list of delegates whose votes did not give Nana Akufo Addo 100% in the region at the super delegates’ congress.

Addai Nimo and Joe Ghartey trailed behind with two votes each whilst Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku and Stephen Asamoah Boateng had zero each.
These results incurred the wrath of Daniel Bugri Naabu who has set up a special committee to unravel the mystery.
An unhappy Daniel Bugri Naabu said those who voted for Alan and the other two candidates affected the region’s agenda of endorsing Nana Addo by popular acclamation just like their colleagues in the Upper West Region did.
He dropped this hint at his private Fuo residence, a suburb of Tamale when NPP youth organizers and their deputies from the 31 constituencies in the region paid him a courtesy call.
Their visit marked the climax of a two-day workshop organized in Tamale on election monitoring and collating of results at polling centres.
Daniel Bugri Naabu reassured Nana Akufo Addo 100% votes come October 18 when the second leg of the NPP national delegates’ congress is conducted.
All the youth Organizers and their deputies declared their unflinching support for Nana Akufo.
They were led by the regional youth Organizer, Alhaji Rashid Salifu who categorically stated, “It is not in our own interest to declare our support for Nana Addo but the interest of the party as a whole: there is no single person in this region who has had an elected position and can openly tell us that when he was campaigning he did not mention Nana Addo’s name.”
Alhaji Rashid maintained that Nana Akufo Addo is the best man to lead the NPP to power in 2016.
“All of us who had our positions openly told the delegates that when they give us the nod we have no any other person to campaign for apart from Nana Addo and today is the time,” he added.
