Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (the African Division and Mashav/Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation) and the Ministry of Health (the Public Health Directorate) are joining the efforts to prevent the spread of Ebola in African nations which have not yet been affected by the disease.
Israel will contribute by imparting exceptional knowledge in the fields of public health and in the prevention of the spread of infectious diseases.
This will be done in coordination with the World Health Organization’s efforts to stop the disease.
