Dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University for Development Studies (UDS) Tamale City Campus is reported dead.
Reports have it that Professor Kwabena Kyei-Aboagye was yesterday involved in an accident at the UDS Tamale City Campus junction on the Tamale-Yapei highway.
Eyewitnesses accounted that a Metro Mass transit bus ran into the late Professor Aboagye’s private Rav4 vehicle at the accident scene.
Authorities of the University for Development Studies have sadly confirmed the late Professor Aboagye’s death to Citi News.
They said the remains have been deposited at the Tamale Teaching Hospital Morgue awaiting autopsy.
A source close to the late UDS Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences on grounds of anonymity said the deceased death was pronounced 10 minutes after he told him he was going to town after working hours.
Family members of the late Professor Kwabena-Kyei Aboagye have already arrived in Tamale.
Both past and current students of the UDS School of Medicine and Health Sciences told Citi News they have lost a godfather.
