Citi Sports can confirm that the Board of Accra Hearts of Oak has agreed to part ways with Managing Director Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe.
The decision was contained in a press release sent out on Friday 25th July, 2014 and it stated that Board of the club had finally settled on letting Armstrong-Mortagbe leave the club after he had put in his resignation on the 30th of June, 2014.
As of the time of the release of the press statement, Armstrong-Mortagbe was under an interdiction ordered by the club after he was accused of certain acts of wrongdoing which he denied.
However, the statement does not make any mention of the accusations against the former Hearts MD but it thanked Arsmtrong-Mortagbe for the work he did with the team.
It also said that acting Executive Chairman Togbe Afede XIV would continue in that role until the Board makes a decision on the post.
