According to her, business women must recognize that they will be criticized regardless of the decisions they take hence, the need to choose decisions which will grow their businesses.

“You’ll be criticized whether you make the tough decisions or not. You must choose between competence and popularity,” she said.

She asked women to never discount their backgrounds or being a woman and must never make a decision based on their emotions.
“Never make a decision when you are emotional, do not make a decision when you are being persuaded. Always get more information before you make any decision,” she added.

Madam Balogun stated that Ghanaian women can build and grow successful businesses in spite of the current economic conditions.

She asked women to employ technology and financial literacy to expand their businesses and protect themselves.
