The only primary school in the Yiyamba and Biraimba communities in the Northern Region is back in session after teachers who fled the mayhem for fear of their lives returned.

Confirming the development to Citi News the Gushegu District Police Commander, ASP Stephen Paa Yeboah, indicated that almost all the children have also returned to school.

He said the constant patrols by the Police have reassured the teachers of their safety.

Residents fled the two towns for safety after the clashes over a parcel of land left killed three and several houses burnt.
