President John Dramani Mahama is encouraging the Black Stars to play their hearts out in tonight’s crucial Group G game against Germany.
The Black Stars need at least a point to keep their hopes of making it to the second round alive.
The president says the players are capable of causing an upset in tonight’s match.
Speaking to Citi News, the Director of Communication at the presidency, Ben Dotse Malor also advised the Black Stars to focus on the possibility of wining against Germany.
Mr. Malor further urged the Black Stars “to play the best game of their lives.”
“ It is possible and the Black Stars should not be counted out, they should go out there and play the best game of their lives once they have given their all, we are praying and believing God to give Ghana victory,” Mr. Malor said .
The Black Stars were defeated by the United States America on Monday.

Meanwhile, Black Stars player Kwadwo Asamoah has urged his Ghanaian teammates to play out of their skin to ensure they secure the needed points against Germany on Saturday.
