South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma is back home after spending a night in hospital for tests, the presidency said.
His doctors are happy with his condition but have ordered him to rest for a few days, the statement said.
Mr Zuma, 72, was sworn in for a second term on 24 May following the African National Congress election victory.
The ANC won 62% of the vote despite concerns about inequality and high unemployment.
