Financial Services Company, IFS, has sued the Graphic Communications Group, its News Editor and a reporter there for GHC 2 million.
This was after the Daily Graphic Newspaper published a story about how IFS had rendered a 70-year-old woman homeless.
The company auctioned the home of retired Margaret Mensah to defray a loan which her son’s friend secured from IFS some years ago.
Following the publication, some philanthropists have come to the aid of the madam Mensah.
But according to the writ IFS filed at the court, Daily Graphic sought to paint the company as heartless and callous which will affect the operations of the company.
