After missing the team’s first training session in Maceio, Brazil, both Kevin Prince Boateng and Abdul Majeed Waris returned to training on Friday to boost the Black Stars squad ahead of their crucial Group G encounter with the United States of America (U.S.A)
The Black Stars will be hoping to bag full points when they take on the USA on Monday, June 16th.
Prior to the big game against the USA, Abdul Majeed Waris looked uncertain as he suffered thigh injury during Ghana’s recent friendly game with the South Koreans.
Kevin Prince Boateng on the other hand, had sat out of the team’s first training session at the Estadio Rei Pele as it was unclear whether he was also nursing an injury.
But, both players participated in the full training session of the team to give coach Kwesi Appiah a full complement of his team ahead of Ghana’s G opener against the United States of America on Monday.
