Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong is on the search for a new club after he was released by Barnsley Football Club four months after joining from Arsenal.
The player was named as part of a list of those the club would let go at the end of the current English Championship season that has the Tykes lying 23rd on the 24-team table.
Frimpong made 9 appearances for Barnsley and got sent off in his debut against Sheffield Wednesday in the Yorkshire Derby.
