Tetteh Lugard, Stephen Tetteh and Emmanuel Laryea have all resumed full training for Accra Hearts of Oak in the buildup to their First Capital Plus Premier League Week 24 against Heart of Lions at the Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
Goalkeeper Tetteh Luggard , who is set to go in between the sticks for Philemon McCarthy, is making his return after an 8-week layoff due to a groin problem.
McCarthy will be absent after sustaining an injury in the Phobians’ 3-1 away loss to Liberty Professionals.
Outfield players Stephen Tetteh and Emmanuel Laryea also trained with the team and are expected to play a part in the fixture against third-placed Lions who have 37 points.
The Phobians have had to deal with a long injury list over the course of the season. captain Moro Abubakr, Obed Ansah, Thomas Abbey, and Kenneth Okoro are out for an extended spell but Kofi Abanga, Gilbert Fiamenyo, Gerald Odupong, Romeo Agban, and Ezekiel Tetteh are out for shorter periods.
The Phobians are currently second on the log with 38 points; 9 behind leaders Kotoko with games against Bechem United (home), Hasaacas (away), Inter Allies (home), Kotoko (away) and New Edubiase (home) left to play in the season.
