The group, led by Brother Joseph Acheampong and Sister Anita Sankuma said they decided to be part of the 8th edition of the Easter Orphan Project by contributing towards equipping the skills and vocational training center for the Suhum Baptist School Complex Orphanage.
”We are making a donation in cash to aid equipping the training center and we believe and touched by this; for us the training of the orphans will go a long way to reduce the unemployment rate,” the group said.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of Citi FM, Programmes Manager, Jessica Opare Saforo thanked the group and promised to use the money for the project in question. She also called on other civil organisations to support the Citi FM Orphan project.
